Post Grading Fun - January 2011
After each grading, we will have a different training.
This quarter, we learn basic defending from attacks into the circular of our body and straight punches.
The kids look forward to the traditional Dog N Bone game.
Our version rules:
1. No pushing
2. No pulling
3. No defending beyond yellow line
4. Running outside green line is out
5. No throwing of the Bone

List of students who paid Grading Fees Jan 2011 (due 14Dec)
You can click on the Attendance/Eligibilty for Grading on the right side of this blog to find out if you have paid the grading fees. You can also find your attendance at the same page.
(No grading for those who couldnt meet 75% attendance)
In one of our previous blog, it was mentioned:
"Last payment date for Grading Fees was: 14 Dec2010
If you have yet to pay Jan2011 grading fees by then, it would be $40 if you still wish to be graded.
Jan to Mar 2011 training fees and Oct grading fees are due 14 Dec 2010."

Time: 7.30pm
Venue: Tampines St 11
Bus No: 8 17 18 28 34 39 59 518 / Tampines MRT
Attire: Club Jersey & TKD pants
~ on 14 Jan (Fri), 15 Jan (Sat) trainings (No need to wear full dobok on the final training before grading)
~ on the way to Sports Hall before changing into full dobok
~ on the way home after grading

We will conduct warm-up & run-through of the pattern before the grading.
Venue: Jurong East Sports Sports Hall
Meet: Main entrance
Nearest MRT: Chinese Garden MRT
Bus: 5N 98 99 157 185 198 333 334 335 502 542 SS4 (alight at Blk 316, 347, 350)

Attire: Plain white T-shirt for the ladies, full dobok for all
Wef from Jan 07, all ladies are required to wear plain white T-shirt beneath the dobok. Failing which, STF may stop the ladies from taking part of the grading.
(Wearing of Club Jersey is highly encouraged to ensure that students, especially young kids, will be easily identified if lost during transit, as there will be a lot of movement to shift from one location to another. And, to ensure that the uniform will be kept clean on the grading day.)
Map:
Green belters & above are reminded to bring their shin, forearm, & groin guards to the grading.
For brown belters, you will be sent for grading provided that you have mastered all 4 patterns by 1 Jan 2011.
Poom/Black, you are highly encouraged to attend this grading as your assistance to ZEN TKD is required for the grading to go on smoothly. Please bring along your personal shin, forearm and groin guards.
