1. NCAP Theory
Held by Sports Council
 - a series of lectures on the fundamental principles of coaching and Sports Science and is conducted by Singapore Sports Council (SSC) appointed lecturers.
 - min 16 years old
 - Registration for NCAP Theory courses will be opened at 9am 2 months before the commencement date of the course

2. NCAP Technical
(Taekwondo Coaching Course)
- Level 1 held by STF, at least once a year, or more frequent if there is a demand/minimum # of registration received by STF
- workshops/lectures on sports specific skills, techniques and strategies in coaching as well as coaching attachments organised by the National Sports Associations (NSAs)
- primary objective of the course is to provide basic knowledge of coaching taekwondo skills.  On completing the course, participants will be able to organize practice sessions which are safe and challenging for taekwondo athletes.

- Theory Test:
   Attachment: Those who passed the theory test are required to complete 3 months (twice a week) or 6 months (once a week) of practical coaching attachment. Trainee coaches can have their choice of schools or clubs approved by STF for their attachment.
- Form A must be returned to the STF at least two weeks before they start their coaching attachment.   
   Attachment without prior approval of STF will not be accepted.
- Form B is for trainee coaches to record their attendance. It must be counter-signed by their respective club officials.
- On receipt of completed Form B, the STF will issue certificates to coaches only after having satisfied that the coaches have fulfilled their obligations.
- Practical attachment must be completed within 3 years of the announcement of the results.

3. First Aid
 - register with St John Ambulance Singapore
   Call St John at 6298 0300 for registration details

 - CRP or Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate by itself is not sufficient
- For nursing, unfortunately we have written in to ssc and they determined that registered nurse certificate is not accepted. The following 1st aid cert are accepted:

4. Full NCAP Certificate - Levels 1 t o 3
 - Once you have the above 3 certificates, fill up conversion form and pass to Girlene mdm

c. Poomsae Coach
- primary objectives of the Poomsae Coach Course are to qualify black belts as poomsae coaches and provided them the passport to become a full-fledged national poomsae referee.

- Poomsae Coach Certificate (Level 1) for successful  participants with NCAP  Level 1 or Taekwondo Coaching  Qualification and Poomsae Coach Certificate (Level 1P) for successful participants without the coaching qualification

d. Coach Induction Course
- Participants who have successfully completed the course may apply for the appropriate coaching passes if they possess the relevant qualifications.
- The passes not only entitle the holders the right to coach their players for the various STF-organized or sanctioned tournaments but also affirm that they are coaches with professional attitude.

e. Kyrugi Referee
- Class: Probationary, 3, 2, 1, International
- Yearly refresher course to update and practice on the kyrugi scoring criteria.  Only after attending each year's of refresher course, the referees are qualified to officiate in kyrugi tournaments for the next one year from the date of refresher course.
- latest interpretations of the competition rules and regulations.
- Blackbelt players are also encouraged to attend the course as it will help them in the understanding of the rules. The knowledge will stand them in good stead in their preparation for the competition and in the competition.

f. Poomsae Referee
- Class 3, 2, 1
- Yearly refresher course to update and practice on the poomsae scoring criteria.  Only after attending each year's of refresher course, the referees are qualified to officiate in poomsae tournaments for the next one year from the date of refresher course.
- Eligibility: (c) Poomsae Coach Certification
- 12hours
- Poomsae Referees will be important to clubs who plan participate in future National School Championships and National Poomsae Championships as all participating clubs will be required to provide at least one poomsae referee to qualify for participation in poomsae competitions.
