Japan disaster fund raising

The above link shows that Red Cross has been in touch with the JRCS and IFRC and is monitoring the situation closely and identifying the assistance required.

The Singapore Red Cross is also accepting monetary donations towards this disaster. Donors may do so with the following:

Cash Donation :
For walk-in donations, the SRC is open during the hours:Mondays to Fridays 9.30am-9pm, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays 9.30am – 6pm.

Cheque Donation:
Cheques to be made payable to the “Singapore Red Cross Society” At the back of the cheque, please indicate:
i) Name
ii) IC/Passport No.
iii) Address and Contact Number
iv) “Japan Disaster 2011”

SMS Donation
Donors may donate via their mobile phones to 75772. For every sms, S$50 will be donated to the “Japan Disaster” fund.



*Please take note that all donations to this disaster are non tax-deductable.

d) AXS Stations
Donors may also make their donations at various outlets of the AXS Stations. They will be available from Wednesday, March 16, 3pm.
Several banks have also come forward to make available their internet banking, ATM and phone banking services. These include:

e) OCBC donation channels

Donors may make their donations via OCBC multiple banking channels. These include the ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Phone Banking, PLUS! Internet Banking and PLUS! Phone Banking.

f) DBS donation channels
Donors may make their donations via DBS’s ATM and Internet Banking. Please refer to its website at www.dbs.com.sg for information.

g) UOB donation channels
Donors may also make their donations via UOB’s Personal Internet Banking with effect from Wednesday, March 16. Please refer to its website at www.uob.com.sg.
