The World Taekwondo Federation signed a recognition contract with Daedo International on electronic protectors at the headquarters of the WTF in Seoul on Feb. 2, 2010. The term of the contract is three years.
With the signing, Daedo International, whose headquarters are located in Barcelona, Spain, became the second company whose electronic protector products were recognized by the WTF, after LaJUST. The WTF inked its first electronic protector recognition contract with LaJUST on Sept. 11, 2006.
